Water Conservation Program
Water Conservation is the reduction of water usage to create a more sustainable supply of our limited water resources for all residents of our growing community.Rio Rancho, one of the fastest growing cities in the southwest, can delay the need for expansion of its water and wastewater infrastructure and related costs through water conservation.Not only is water conservation the responsible thing to do, it also is a requirement of the Office of the State Engineer as part of the application process for more water rights.
