The Building Maintenance division has the following responsibilities:
- Providing maintenance, repairs, renovations and upgrades for all city buildings
- Maintenance of traffic signals and metered streetlights installation, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to all electrical systems, computer networks, and related equipment at City buildings, parks, easements, and intersections
- Seasonal banners and U.S. flags on NM 528 and street banners on Southern Blvd
- Performing line locates for streetlights, traffic lights and communication systems that are city owned
