Apply for Water/Wastewater Utility Account
You will need to apply for a new water/wastewater utility account if: you have never had a water/wastewater utility account, are reactivating an account, or transferring ownership of an account.

How to Apply for Service:
1. Obtain one of the forms below according to your need or get the forms from our Utility Operations Department Forms page.Please follow the instructions on how to fill out a fillable form on our Utility Operations Department Forms page.

a. UT-UTS-01.01 (E) Residential Application PDF
i. If you live in a single family home.

b. UT-UTS-01.02 (E) Commercial Application PDF
i. If you are applying for water for a business.

2. Get a copy of your valid Driver’s license, your valid state ID, or your valid passport for your application.

3. E-mail, Mail, or Fax the form with a copy of your valid ID.

i. Please include a cover page, any additional documentation, and a note on how many pages are include in the fax.

4. When your application and a copy of your valid ID is received and properly filled out, a Utilities Service Specialist will open your new account within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving your application.

Fees and Deposits:
  • A $45 administrative fee is charged to the account when it is created, reactivated, or transferred.


  • If you are applying for a Commercial Account you will be required to pay a deposit equal to three month’s water utility charges for a like and similar customer before the account is activated.

  • A deposit may be waived if:
    • You have good credit as determined by the soft credit check.
    • You are an established customer in good standing.
      • Good standing means that your bills have been paid on time and in full for the past twelve (12) months.

  • If a deposit is charged it is held for one (1) year.After that year, if your account is in good standing the deposit is automatically refunded as a credit to your bill.
