Apply for Water Account
You will need to apply for a new water account if: you have never had a water account, are reactivating an account, or transferring ownership of an account. Please note a $45.00 administrative fee is charged to all of the above. 

How to Apply for Service:
a. UT-UTS-01.01 (E) Residential Application PDF
i. If you live in a single family home.

b. UT-UTS-01.02 (E) Commercial Application PDF
i. If you are applying for water for a business.

2. A copy of your valid Driver’s license,  valid state ID, valid passport for your application. Along with a signed rental/lease agreement from both parties or HUD/ Settlement statement.

3. E-mail, Mail, or Fax the form with a copy of your valid ID.

a. E-mail to: with the form name in the subject line.

b. Fax to: (505) 891-5204
i. Please include a cover page, any additional documentation, and a note on how many pages are include in the fax.

4. When your application and a copy of your valid ID is received and properly filled out, a Utilities Service Specialist will open your new account within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving your application.
