Memorial Tree Program
The city of Rio Rancho Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department invites you to participate in its Memorial Tree Program.

Trees are one of nature's best gifts to humankind and the planting of trees has always symbolized peace, life, growth and hope for the future.

The gift of a tree is a unique way to celebrate and honor or memorialize a special individual, group or event while adding a long-lasting aesthetic and environmental benefit to the entire community.

Fee ($350) Includes:
Certificate and installation of tree and plaque.
Tree will be 2" caliper and 6' to 8' tall.

How it Works
Your tree(s) will be planted in a public park or other public area in the spring or fall.

A certificate will be presented to you at a tree-planting ceremony.

City staff will contact you regarding plaque wording and tree-planting ceremony.
