Stimulus Funding in Rio Rancho
Via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the city of Rio Rancho has received confirmation that it will receive the following either directly from the federal government or other government agencies that have received stimulus funding.

Santa Ana Star Center roof.

Revolving Fund
 $2 million Reverse Osmosis Treatment at
Well 12.

 New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission Recovery Grant

$26,706

Provide direct services to victims of crime throughout Sandoval County.

 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Asst. Grant (JAG)  $143,461  To assist local efforts to prevent or reduce crime and violence; preserve and create jobs; invest in transportation, environmental protection and other infrastructure that provide long-term economic benefits; and to stabilize state and local governments in order to minimize and avoid reductions in essential services.
NM Stop Violence Against Women Grant


 $43,671 Provide and strengthen victim services to under served populations; provide specialized domestic violence court advocates to the 13th Judicial District Court where protections are granted; develop, expand and strengthen programs addressing stalking; and support placement of special victim assistants in local law enforcement agencies.
 Governor discetionary award from Government Services Fund  $1 million To construct a a new fire station (Fire Station No. 7) at the corner of Rockaway Boulevard and Pyrite Drive in the Vista Hills neighborhood.
