The New Mexico Mission of Mercy (NM MOM) in Central New Mexico, and the Santa Ana Star Center, is looking for more than a thousand volunteers to help staff New Mexico’s largest charity event on October 24 and 25, 2014. The Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho will be converted into a dental clinic treating thousands who seek free, first-come-first-serve basic care.
Interested individuals or organizations should visit www.nmdentalfoundation.org (use link below) to register. Volunteer duties include: hospitality/food, parking/security, patient greeter, entertainment, registration, data entry, patient escorts, runners, translators, volunteer check-in, massage therapists, set-up/tear down and willing hands.
The goal for this year’s New Mexico Mission of Mercy in Central New Mexico is to give away hundreds of thousands of dollars in much needed dental care. Previous NM MOM’s have served 4,700 patients and provided $2.8 million dollars in free dental care. Volunteer registration is now open.
