    The Rio Rancho Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your medications for disposal. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

  2. DWI Town Hall

    October 26, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ 3200 Civic Center Circle

    Judge G. Robert Cook of the Rio Rancho Municipal Court, in conjunction with Judge Richard Zanotti of the 13th Judicial District Magistrate Court in Bernalillo, is hosting a public education DWI Town Hall. The town hall will address the DWI problem from several perspectives; including prosecution and defense, law enforcement and treatment, and the impact it has on victims. Several experts from the area have agreed to participate and provide information on not only the DWI problem, but the growing problem of DWI by prescription drug users. The forum-style event will be held in the Rio Rancho City Hall Governing Body Chambers, 3200 Civic Center Drive, on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Questions will be taken near the end of the presentation. Everyone is invited.
